Send a Kid to Camp Campaign
Give a City of Richmond child an opportunity to enjoy summer camp by contributing to the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Send a Kid to Camp Campaign.
The department provides a nine week summer camp for children ages 6 -12. The camp program, “Passport to the World” runs June 23 – August 22 from 7:30 am to 5 pm. The day camp is offered at 21 locations. The cost is $180 per child with breakfast and lunch provided free by the USDA Summer Meals for Kids Program.
The summer camp activities include: structured recreational and learning activities, games, playground activities, cultural arts, athletic activities, swimming, golf and tennis lessons, mini - instructional camps, trips and entertainment.

All donations made to the foundation are tax deductible. A $180 donation will pay for an entire summer camp experience for one youth.
