The department provides a nine week summer camp for children ages 6 -12. The camp program, Great Summer Escape "Adventure Through Time" runs June 22 – August 21 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The day camp is offered at 21 locations. The cost is $225 per child with breakfast and lunch provided free by the USDA Summer Meals for Kids Program.
The summer camp activities include: structured recreational and learning activities, games, playground activities, cultural arts, athletic activities, swimming, golf and tennis lessons, mini - instructional camps, trips and entertainment. An hour of reading and an hour of math will be provided each day.

All donations made to the foundation are tax deductible. A $225 donation will pay for an entire summer camp experience for one youth.
